I saw with interest and if I am honest no little amusement that Quality Solicitors are using Stacey Solomon, the epitome of an Essex girl and an X Factor finalist to open a number of their branches. The latest being in Bristol yesterday.
I think I can get the tenuous link about Quality, Solicitors and the X Factor, but it is a bit of a stretch.
And who are the intended clients?
Surely it is not the hordes of teenagers who have attended previous launches (unless part of a long term strategy)?
Or is the only rationale the cheesy publicity factor?
It occurred to me that Lawyers, Colleagues, Clients and Legal Marketers could have a lot of fun in fantasising about the launch of law firms and booking a dream personality to open it.
We don’t even have to restrict it to living persons.
I “bagsy” George Clooney before any one else tries to nab him for opening of their law firm.
Clever, handsome, sophisticated and totally reassuring: an ideal person to win business from the (in our experience) the Decision Making Unit (DMU) i.e. the female of the household.
Any suggestions?
